Before Semnos Solutions came to life, it was just an idea between two UNO students. The business major pointed out to the IT major that many businesses in Omaha did not have websites. He recognized that dilemma too and suggested they solve it. They realized that their skill sets were complementary and that starting a business was practical. But what for a name?

They searched for variations of words in different languages to find out what best conveyed their business beliefs. What they found was that "semnos" meant "honest" in Greek and that it fit well with the word "solutions". Thus, we have Semnos Solutions.

Our Philosophy


We're very passionate about everything we do here at Semnos. Our motivation doesn't come from profit; rather, we genuinely want to help smaller businesses in our community grow. Integrity is what guides our work and quality is what governs it.
